TOP CAT NOT UNDERDOG
“When I announced I was running for the seat of Mt Lawley I promised I would listen to the local community’s views and give voice to their issues and concerns.
And I have remained true to this promise”
“All the policies that I released during my campaign directly reflect the desires and concerns of the community.” said Mr Cat.
“This has had a clear resonance with the community. Recent BazPoll figures show that I and the other independents are Top Cats. The major parties are polling as outright underdogs who will have to claw their way back to relevance.”.......more

WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT MR CAT
“I have known Bazil for the last 8 years (since I was born) and can only say he is the most patient and helpful cat I have ever met. On the odd occasion I tease him to see what kind of response I will get, but he is such a nice natured cat I never get a rise”. TIGGER REX
“Bazil moved in just down the road from me 2 years ago. No request is ever too hard for him. He is always happy to help out, particularly in a time of crisis” PATRICIA BURMESE
“Although Bazil is a cat, and I have never had too much time for that sort, I have warmed to Bazil over the past 4 years. He is always up for some good natured fun like me chasing him around the block.” TRAVIS TERRIER
“When my owners left me out in the cold, Bazil was there for me with warm milk and a blanket. He has such generosity and warmth and has given so much to the community. He really is a silent worker in our community.” SOOTY THE DOMSTEIC-SHORTHAIR
“I have lived with Bazil for the last four years and he has never once tried to eat me. He is so different to other cats. I think he will make a great member for Mt Lawley” FEARLESS FISH
MEET BAZIL
Bazil Cat was born in the Perth foolthills in 1993. He was seperated from his parents at a young age. He never received a formal education nor been paid for a days work in his life and has been forced to rely on his wit, guile and good looks for his creature comforts.
Living and working in the electorate of Mount Lawley for the last decade, Bazil has come to appreciate many of the issues affecting the local community.
Mr Cat said he wants to give back to the community what the community has so generously given him.
With his disadvantaged background Bazil has recieved so much from the community including milk, pats, cuddles and the occasional kick in the pants when needed.
In his life Bazil has overcome much adversity including breaking his tail, losing sight in both eyes, being hit by three cars and having nasty infections resulting in abscess.
Bazil is a strong, passionate cat, who if elected will purr for Mt Lawley.
